Bota MoMo was established in 2015, with the aim to serve best hygienic food, especially MoMos -the most loved snack among Nepalese of all ages. It offers wide varieties of momo that you can enjoy- besides from local jhol momo. It has around seven different outlets till date in the various places in town.

“The first time I tried Bota after they opened in Kamalpokhari- around 2016 I guess. The chef came out and asked for review. I have my honest review – chicken momo is khallo. Just I could say that and he immediately disappeared…didn’t come out.
It was first and last time for me….baru I would love the shaandar momo just beside it.
Bota…Not something special-no good service-overpriced and over hyped. would never ever recommend anyone in Bota.

I don’t know what others feel BT pricing chai market research nagari nai randomly set gareko jasto lagyo..beside that self service vayepaxi price ta Ali kum hunu paryo ni…water is served in plastic ko glass which is not properly cleaned and oily and we can see the greasy sparkle in the glass.. “If you’re thinking ’bout goin’ there please don’t go. I don’t know how many chains they have but I have visited 2 of them. One at Kaushaltar and next at Chakrapath. First, I went on opening of Bota at Kaushaltar;it was good.And then again several weeks after I went there with family it was horrible. What a Expectation Vs Reality game!

MY VERDICT

Bota MoMo, as they state, has made continuous efforts to deliver the best MoMos in town with topmost quality, taste, hygiene and best customer service since its establishment. But the 86% negative public reviews clearly show that they still have a long way to go, in order to win people’s hearts. I hope they make improvisations in order to maintain the authentic taste of the momo while blending their innovation. The responses above also reflect the need to review their pricing and customer service policies. If Bota truly succeeds to deliver their proclaimed standards, I believe it can certainly win back the public love and trust.
